Inspection
We offer programs from a complete inspection of all of your vessels systems to simple oil changes. We are authorized service centers for Cummins, Yanmar, and Mercruiser diesels. We also represent Marine Power, Crusader and Mercruiser gas engines. We perform repairs on all types of drive systems both inboard gears and out drives, filely everything that's on your boat. We have the trained experienced staff to perform any repair.
Installations
Installations of new equipment occur frequently at Boatworx Inc. You name it, we've installed one. We offer the best brands available to you, Marine Air Systems. Bow and stern thrusters, Nor pro and Oman generators, Oil exchangers, Spindlier washers and a wide variety of ice makers and refrigeration units are available.
Electronics
Electronics packages are available for every budget. Let us put a package together for you that suits your boat usage and cruising style. We offer simple installations of depth sounders and custom built radars for packages as complex as remote steering. Don't get locked into just one brand because your boat neighbors have one. We offer several brands for you to choose from and more importantly we can tell you the advantages of each and have experience in operating different products. You can rely on us to perform installations cleanly and provide you with the training to get the most from your new electronics. Mobile
Summer repairs are no problem with "The Mobile Mechanic". Each of the Boatworx Inc. service technicians have a completely
outfitted service truck that can actually come to your marina for summer repairs. These trucks stock common parts and
supplies for filely any type of repair. If a special part is needed, our network of parts suppliers can get it to us right
away. Don't waste precious cruising time waiting to have repairs done.

Diesel Repower's "The Boatworx Way"
Before even the first hatch is lifted, our database of diesel repower's is searched for comparison vessels. We then outline each step to be taken and any changes that will need to made to accommodate your new engines. No detail is overlooked, from gas tank cleaning to considering even expansion of engine ventilation space. Literally everything is plotted out for you before the first bolt is turned. During the process your boat is kept well, masked off and protected from scratches and clean throughout the installation. Everything is documented, tested and retested before your boat is released to you. You will even go through an orientation process with our certified mechanic to ensure you understand your boats new power plant and accessories.

There are four main advantages of diesel power over traditional gas engines.

Storage
Only the best for your boat. Boatworx Inc. is one of the finest storage facilities on the Great Lakes. Over 50,000 square feet of clean inside storage where you can work on your boat in comfort. All buildings have adequate lighting and electrical plugs. All heated bays have back up power in case of outage. Our security center is second to none. With our ceiling clearances, your canvas can stay up year round.
All boats are lifted in/out with our 70-tone travel lift and placed on stands or cradles. The outside storage is protected from harsh winter wind and includes electricity. Boatworx Inc. storage includes haul out, pressure wash, bunking time, spring exterior wash, re-launch and one-week free dockage. All prices are per square foot and billing on boats is measured overall length including swim platforms and bow pulpits. Statewide transport is available for even the largest boat. Boats travel on our custom air ride trailer. All transport is licensed, insured and performed by qualified, experienced staff.
Heated
We provide only the best for your boat. Our building, built in 2004, offers you over 50,000 square feet of heated comfort. Your boat is kept at a comfortable 50 degrees. You will have access to both 30 and 50 amp power as well as 110 for electrical supply. The lighting in the building is bright and ample for even the most detailed tasks. This building offers you the best available storage at a reasonable price.
Outside Storage
Our outside storage is 16 blocks inland. It offers protection from the harsh winter winds. You will have access to power
and water in the spring and fall for maintenance. Outside boats are stored on a concrete foundation. No worries of stands
or cradles sinking into the ground.
